Washed Indigo Check
The Corridor Washed Indigo Check Work Shirt features a heavyweight indigo-dyed canvas with a subtle check. Based on a fabric found in a vintage store, a similar effect was achieved with the natural indigo dye and washing out the top layer of the dye. The shirt will age beautifully and has a thick, dry hand.

What does responsibility mean? People talk a lot about transparency and sustainability. For Corridor, this means that we actually work in the factory with the tailors every season to create the garments and ensure the workshops are environmentally certified (ISO 9001) and socially accountable (SA 8000). You can feel good knowing where and how the garment was made. This garment was a made in 3rd generation, open air workshop with on site day care, garden, paying a living wage to the artisans who made the goods. The workshop is located in Madras, India and melds the new (Japanese sewing machines) and the old (hand embroidery, hand loomed fabrics, natural dying) for a product that is authentic and contemporary. This is a mostly woman operated factory and is partnered with a rehabilitation center for women encountering domestic violence. We work out of the workshop for approximately two months of the year.
