Novesta

Novesta was founded in 1939 when shoemaker Jan Antonin Bata, opened his newest factory in the small town of Partizánske in central Slovakia. To this day Novesta have remained champions of quality shoemaking utilising proven traditional methods creating timeless products with longevity their foremost consideration.

Their signature Star Master has been a staple of Novesta's range for over 70 years. Using only certified materials, the Star Master's natural rubber sole is machine-pressed onto the body of the shoe, which is then finished manually by skilled craftsmen. This ethnical and ecological process results in tire marks around the outsole, a trademark look of the company.
