And Wander was born in 2011 by avid hikers, and former Issey Miyake designers, Keita Ikeuchi and Mihoko Mori. They wanted to bring the unique sensibilities gained from their high-fashion backgrounds to outerwear and gear built with the functionality and practicality to be worn in the mountains of Japan. Their brand ethos is taken from the simple phrase “The pleasure of playing in the mountains”
