As with all dry denim the longer wear in period prior to the first wash will produce greater contrast and depth to the indigo finish. Nudie are strong advocates of this approach but washing earlier and more frequently also renders great results. Make sure to either hand wash or use a gentle washing machine cycle and line dry or lay flat to dry. As long as you take care of your jeans they will, in turn, reward you with an evolving patina that very well might render the best looking washed jeans you will ever have.
