Originating in Chartres-sur-Cher in 1935, Gabriel Danton's new label was created to meet the needs of labourers in the centre and northeast of France. Initially supplying overalls, cookwear uniforms, blousons, and gardening aprons, later becoming synonymous with French railway workers in the 1970's and 80's. Today, the familiar red-and-white diamond-logo lives on in it's new home of Japan, offering up a core collection the unisex workwear garments with the same boxy silhouettes and quality of manufacture that has been a trademark of the label throughout it's lifetime.
