105XX 1950s Selvedge Denim One Wash

The orSlow 105XX 1950's is a regular fitting jean, crafted from 13.5 oz premium selvedge Japanese denim that's been woven using low-tension yarns on vintage 1953 spinning machines and classic shuttle looms, resulting in a highly textured, irregular finish. The rise , leg shape and top block have been gently increased to create a roomier fit than the Standard 105 fit. Like many of Ichiro Nakatsu denim pieces the 105 Fit takes inspiration from 20th-century American made denim, clearly referencing Levis iconic straight fitting 501's of 1950's. The The One Year wash carries a clean look and even wash, preserving the deep colour while removing initial shrinkage for a consistent fit from the start.

Vintage denim enthusiast and collector Ichiro Nakutsa has built his denim and workwear influenced label using his vast personal archive of authentic denim and workwear pieces to inspire each of his collections. In a short space of time Ichiro has been humbled to see his own early denim and fatigue styles, many of which have remained in Orslow's seasonal collections, become highly sought after vintage pieces.
