The 6" Moc Toe 8828 is cut from Red Wing's smooth finished Alpine Portage Leather. Made in Red Wing, Minnesota Moc Toe boot was originally designed for hunters and farmers in the early 1950s, it's name derived from ‘Moccasin', the traditional Algonquian Indian word for the U-shape design of the toe. The Red Wing 8828 boot has a black Cushion Crepe Wedge outsole with Traction Tred and provides maximum grip and outstanding comfort.

• The Moc Toe has extra room in the forefoot (toe area) and instep which allows easier entry to the shoe.
• Most of our customers purchase 1/2 to one full size smaller than their normal size.
• When purchasing a heritage style work boot it is important to get a snug fit. This will allow the boot to mould and adapt to your foot and prevent heel slippage. Just make sure you can still wiggle your toes though. After all comfort is what it's all about.
